The 25 mm grid
Every object is sized in 25 mm increments. A 4×4 footprint is 100 mm × 100 mm.
Compared to other systems like Gridfinity, 25 mm grid offers multiple advantages:
- a finer increment to better accommodate real-world objects
- more compact layouts, less space wasted in narrow drawers and odd gaps
- more contact points, better grip and alignment when combining pieces
The specification is also open for everyone who wants to build Gridfium-compatible objects.
